STEM Roadshow

On Wednesday 23rd November, Year 7 and 8 lessons were collapsed for the STEM roadshow to deliver an interactive and informative show on magnetism and electromagnetism within the Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and BAE systems. The roadshow’s aim is to inspire young people across the UK to take an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths and challenges stereotypes to encourage women in STEM. Both year groups had a fantastic time whilst learning more about how magnets effect our everyday lives! They also witnessed a member of the roadshow team being held 6ft in the air… by a magnet
